It’s probably much more than you think. According to studies the average human makes 612 decisions each day. Not coincidentally, there are 613 commandments in the Hebrew Bible. The clear implication here may raise an eyebrow or provoke a yawn for people with no faith background, but for believers it reinforces the very foundation of our spiritual convictions. Isn’t it invigorating to know that for every decision you have to make today, God has a word for you about how He wants you to make that decision; that word being His revealed will, found in the Bible? The scriptures cover every decision we’ll make today! Wow! Awesome! Perhaps most important of all is deciding whether we’ll heed them or not.
